John Juanda was among the many stars to enter into the WSOPE event#3. Besides the PLO event, the fourth day of WSOPE also featured the £1,075 buy-in No Limit Hold'em event kick off. 202 players showed up on Day 1A of this event, including Chris Ferguson, John Juanda, Jason Mercier, Antonio Esfandiari and many more familiar faces.
By the end of the day, only 28 players remained, with Jeppe Bisgaard holding the largest stack of 49,000 in chips. These players will now have to wait for Day 1B and 1C to be played out today and tomorrow.
The World Series of Poker is set to start in Las Vegas, but the schedule for the WSOP Europe was also just released.
The tournament series will run from Sept. 14-28, with five events that award bracelets. It will be held at Casino at the Empire in London once again.
The main event, with a buy-in of £10,000, will start on Sept. 23.
